Ill met by moonlight (help)

So, I never killed Sinding (the werewolf). Now, Bloated Man's Grotto will not reset. That means I can never get something that is very special...

That being said, has anyone had this problem, and if so, did you track down Sinding and kill him?

If you did, what was the outcome?

Thanks.

The Grotto never resets no matter what you do. The Red Moon may fade but the damage done by the hunt remains forever.

I just did that quest... The spirit of the Daedric lord appeared once I had killed the werewolf and gave me an utterly stupid looking chest armour with 15% magic resist and 50% poison resist, which I can't wear because it looks ridiculous.

well, despite the reward already being spoiled by someone

no you do not get the saviour's hide if you hunt him down outside of the cave, i think, but you can get it and the ring if you kill both parties, leave, talk to hircine, then go back and carve his skin. two best artifacts in the game with one stone

Yeah, sometimes you try to be the nice guy in this game, and sometimes you try to stay neutral. Either way, you get F'ed. By the way, I was referring to the oath blade.

I had troubles with this Quest when I did it. I decided to kill Sinding, but the location marker stayed on him and I was supposed to skin him, but I could find no way to do it. So I reloaded and let him live and actually felt better about it. Didn't realise I was missing out on some booty. Oh well, if I ever get there again with my next character...
