Prior to patch 1.6, when you grabbed an object with the move/drag feature, it would always grab it in the center; after 1.6, most items are now grabbed at the bottom. Since Skyrim changed things so that you always had to grab an item in the same place, this makes it all but impossible to place said items properly.

House-decorating and such is personally one of the big draws for these game, and I'd hate to see a random change kill off that pastime. Of course I doubt many others notice the problem or would care anyway, so hopefully this topic will get noticed and it won't be much of a chore to revert back to its original function.

I can actually relate to this, sometime when i knock something over and pick it up to place it where it goes the grab mechanic is all messed up and it never gets put where i want it. However this is minor compared to all the other bugs especially the draw distance making it look like crap.
