Should I keep hoping?

I'm a Ps3 player, and I truly wish for Horse Speed to be increased, Follower AI actually following me and not miles behind, Destruction actually doing great damage. I myself and MANY people have been asking for Bethesda to implement or "Fix" these things since the release of Skyrim, but so far nothing...

Should I keep hoping?

No not really. Destruction was designed like that, and nobody really likes it, but that's just the way it is. Horse speed can't be increased because the consoles and some of the weaker computers won't be able to render the environment fast enough.

You can keep hope for Follower AI though. I don't think it's going to be changed either, but it's possible I guess.

Well the rumor mill has been buzzing that the upcoming DLC might be called Hearthfire and it might be based around magic, so you (and I) could hope for a magic overhaul in that or in a patch, that goes for the follower AI as well. Horse speed - I wouldn't get your hopes up, the reason why they left it abyssmally low is the reason Fishy87 stated.

I really do wish for a boost on damage on Destruction because it's magick you know? A Huge Fireball, Lightning, or Freezing Spell should make NPC's and most enemies cower in fear... not just shrug it off >.>

Then explain why the Werewolf is able too run faster than the horse?

Really? Much faster? Perhaps horses could be upgraded a bit, but they can't be much faster then what they already are.

Yep they run a bit faster. I don't think it's because of them not being able to render the environment fast enough. In the game loading hints. It says that the horses of Skyrim are stronger, but slower. Also I know they are different games, but the horses in Oblivion ran faster. And it didn't have any problems with rendering the environment.

Destruction was never an issue, even post level 40. All you have to do is have impact, incinerate, -100% destruction cost, and always dual cast. This is how I play my mage and nothing ever breaks through my line of spells to touch me.

Oh, and aspect of terror or fear, whatever it's called. Does wonders for fire magic.

The issue I have with it is that you need that dramatic reduction to mana cost to even make destruction magic viable/fun lategame, coming from someone who plays a level 59 mage and doesn't use magic cost reduction. I mean when I go up against an Ancient Dragon with 3071 health and my Incinerate does 157,5 damage and that's buffed with a potion and all the damage perks in the destruction tree it just makes me facepalm.

What I take isse with is the fact that apparently in the transition from Oblivion to Skyrim, mages now need great amounts of magic cost reduction gear to be able to even cast more than three or four high level or dual cast spells even though they pumped magicka on every single level up. That just seems wrong to me.
