Hi all.

This is not so much an issue but a query as to how the game is at retail version. I'm planning to buy this and play it in my hometown, however I don't have any internet access, so whatever the retail version is (v1.0?) I will be stuck with this.

Is this game playable without any updates? What should I be expecting?

If you buy the game on disc, it is of course playable without XBL access. Updates are only required if you encounter a problem which gets you stuck or similar and one of the updates will solve it.

However, enjoy the game! It's one of the best I've ever played. It's huge, it's beautiful, it's versatile.

How can the graphics on a XBox be better due to an update?

The updates killed the graphics compared to unpatch version of the game which looks awesome i can not even play version 1.6 it looks so bad. but the unpatch version has a lot more game breaking bugs, i just want them to fix the draw distance and re-spawn issues in the next update.
