Haven't played Skyrim in a long while, still have a bunch of old mods installed. Got home this afternoon to find a warning from MalwareBytes that it had caught a malicious process attempting to start.

Trojan.XBuild402 in steam\steamapps\common\Skyrim\data\SKSE\plugins\TESVAL.dll

Looking through my old mod downloads, it looks like I was using v 1.3.10.0-2011-12-22

Maybe this is old news, maybe it's a false positive. If anyone used that, might want to scan your system.

Do you know mod that is from? I think that might possibly be from SkyUI. If so, there's a newer version of SkyUI (which is completely virus free, not sure where you downloaded yours from) that doesn't include those files anymore.

It's a false positive, but it's also an obsolete file as the optimizations it was doing have since been covered by official patches.

It's a false positive. TESVAL was a nice little plugin from Arisu that optimized Skyrim (and inspired Bethesda to actually use compiler optimizations). Won't work with the latest version.
