Will Broken Quests Ever Be Fixed? : V

For instance the broken quests in the Mage College the Missing Appetences and Niry's paper quest that can only be activated command console>?

Missing Appetences wasn't removed and no reason why the paper quest couldn't be put back in since it's still there.

Was it confirmed that it was removed, or is it an error?

Also, is the Thieve's Guild members in the same boat? They keep saying "I need to talk to you, if you have a minute" and stuff like that and it bothers me.

I thought the missing apprentices was just something to talk about and not a quest. I am hoping that they fix the Misc. quest that get bugged often. Tell me to kill a Giant that never spawns, or tell a family that the husband is dead, when you can't even start dialogue with the wife.

TES games have always had bits and pieces of abandoned quests floating around their games. Sometimes it is entire quest lines they decided to remove from the game for whatever reason to misc quests that don't make the cut.

As for patching quests, most of the time, patches only work if you have not received the quest or triggered the conditions for the quest (Blood on the Ice for instance).

TBH, this quest is still in the game. You can find the apprentices, gather what you need. However, you get no acknowledgement from the game. There are a few unmarked quests like this in the game. I don't think it was an error on the devs part to have this be unmarked. It kind of goes to how the college itself operates that no one cares enough to mount a search party. They talk about caring, but never see the need themselves to do anything about it.

Still after you collect all the stuff and returned to the college some acknowledgement would be nice, took me forever to connect the names with the few items I collected, it was not till my first two characters had different items I worked out I had to be able to find the fourth missing student. You have no idea how long I tried freezing some beverage to see if anything happened. Not even a chilled drink did I get.
