For me, playing skyrim on ps3 is very viable.

Maybe I am just a lucky guy, but I barely to never have any trouble with lag issues.
And there are bugs that can be annoying, but not enough to make me stop playing. And it is quite rare for me to get a bug.
Graphics may not be as amazing like on the pc, but it is perfectly fine to me.

Do I tolerate too much? Or are there any others who would say the same?

Loving every minute of Skyrim on the PS3! I seem to have even fewer bugs than my friend, who plays on PC ...

That said, I do sympathize for those who have some serious bugs. Let's hope Bethesda can patch them soon!

My system runs pretty well, but I still find the overwhelming number of bugs (such as quests not starting, weapons not being upgradeable, npcs disappearing, etc) to be very frustrating, especially combined with Bethesda's poor communication skills.

The only real bug that troubles me are the npcs dissapearing.
This did make me start over with a character, I do hope Bethesda will do something about it soon.
But, it still barely happens to me.

I don't think so. I'm a PC user and haven't seen Skyrim on PS3 in person. But judging from the screenshots I have seen, Skyrim looks just as beautiful and detailed on the PS3 as it does on PC. Personally, I think Skyrim is more enjoyable, more playable, in its unmodded, vanilla state than either Morrowind or Oblivion. If I were going to pick one of the last three games to play on a console it would without a doubt be Skyrim. I think you made a great choice.

maybe i'm just dumb but I don't get it... if your game runs fine and you have no problems with it, why come to the hardware and software ISSUES forums and make a post of it where most of the people here have problems. It's like walking up to the mother of a paraplegic kid with cancer and boasting how healthy your kid is and how blessed you feel :/
