Recovering deleted autosaves

Yesterday I was playing the vampire questline of Dawnguard with my level 41 Altmer spellsword/necromancer character. I've spent at least 100 hours on that character (might even be 150) and I really liked her. Especially because the Vampire Lord ability just suited her perfectly, both personality- and stat-wise.

However, her marksman skill was rubbish so I decided to make a new character to use crossbows with. Big mistake. I suddenly realized I had to be somewhere while playing, and in my haste I saved the new character over my Altmer. I also have the nasty habit of deleting my autosaves everytime I save my game, so even if any of the autosaves were still my Altmer then I deleted those.

However, while I know that it's impossible to recover a file once it's been overwritten, I also know that with the right means it is possible to recover a file that's "only" been deleted (something to do with hooking the 360 up to my computer, or a memory card reader?). Realizing this, I immediately decided to stop playing Skyrim. That way, if one of the autosaves was one of my Altmer's saves, it won't be overwritten. So my question is, does anyone here know how I would recover a deleted autosave? And is it different from recovering a normal save file? If anyone could explain to me how to do this, I would greatly appreciate it.

TL;DR: how do you recover a deleted, not overwritten, Skyrim autosave?

Thanks in advance,

I dont believe there is a way to. You can try it to hook it up to your pc but I think once you delete something it unflags that portion of the HD for it to be saved over again and cannot be recovered.
