A Hunter/gatherer type organization. Big Game hunters. Based out of a hunting lodge full of burly men and shapely orcess's spinning yarns about stalking dangerous prey.

Those are called the Vigilants of Stendarr.
Not joinable...though that would be cool...But they are indeed there.

Sounds like the Vigilants of Stendarr, "Walk always in the light, or we will drag you to it." And anyways, screw Paladins, we need doom knights!

Not only for Stendarr , they may be close at appearance and aims , but these fight in the name of Aedra !

A guild of hot and badass women who fight in bikinis. Kind of like the arena from Oblivion, except there are sprinkler type things that spray water on them while they fight! That is the best idea EVER!

Good thing you can destroy the DB , I wish we could do the same with Maven and The Thieves Guild.

I like this. It's something different that could really add to the roleplay group. And it would be just expanding on what's already there. There are many hunter campsites with hunters hanging out. I think this idea warrants it's own thread for being a new idea. I bet there'd be many people who'd be interested in expanding on this.

Great contribution, He[censored]mains.

I like the Hunting idea. Though the Companions seem to fall under that a little due to:

Spoiler
Them being Werewolves

But it really only seems that Aela is obsessed with the Hunt. So it could be possible to have a Hunting Guild consisting of quest to hunt down the most dangerous game.

Making the Temple of the Divines joinable, with quests that involve looking into spiritual unrest, and helping the wayward departed find resolution.

A Fight Club guild that no one talks about, where bare-knuckle brawling tournaments take place.

Thank ya kindly. I was just thinking that...Archers need some love guild-wise. Naturally I thought of hunting. Imagine hunting down unique monsters out in the wild, and claiming their pelts and trophies to mount in the Hunters Hall or whatever.

I'm not sure what hunter/gatherers have to do with the Companions. Hunters are men and women that hunt... deer and such. The Hunt and those things to do with the inner circle of the Companions is totally different.

What about Holy - Archers ?
I don't think they love hunting...

What about a underground darkelf resistance group throughout skyrim, would fit in nicely with the current situation in morrowind and the discord between nords and darkelves.....

Personally, I would rather be able to be able to join the factions that are in the game already, like the vigilanties of Stendar, the Silver Hands, the Forsworn. I''d also prefer if Bethesda expanded on the current guilds and added new questlines.

Anyways, here are my ideas:

*Sons of Ysmir - A secret Talos cult that plans and executes attacks against the Thalmor. Becoming leader of the group would only be possible after the player have discovered that they are dragonborn (the cult of Talos would obviously have a lot of respect against the dragonborn).

* The Wolfpack - a guild of hunters that hunts, fishes, make leather and lives out in the wild. This would be a perfect reason to expand the wildlife of Skyrim (http://www.gamesas.com/topic/1375039-ideas-regarding-the-wildlife-of-skyrim/page__fromsearch__1

There was a necromancer's guild in Daggerfall, but there's a reason it doesn't exist anymore. The leader is pretty much gone or they disbanded. You could join temples in that game, but this made more sense in that game due to just how complex the game was in how it presented the ideals of each region of High Rock. The games after Daggerfall just decided to have them grouped together when anything involving temple membership would arise.

Paladin guilds seem to be more or less things that come and go in the TES lore. It seems like those kinds of groups are bound to have someone falling from grace or something, which seems to mean tons of problems. It seems that paladins in the TES games don't like to form guilds for their ideals due to just how easy it is for those to break apart. Knights of the Nine is one example of this.

The Hunt is actually a Hircine thing. Aela most likely worships Hircine or has high respect for that daedric prince. There's also the wild hunt that the Bosmer rarely ever do just because it turns them into monsters forever and new monsters are created from this ritual. That, and Bosmer really hate the whole thing.

I'd rather see some rivals for the more powerful guilds already in the game.
