What are a few of the most expensive potions you can make in Skyrim and what ingredients will I need to make them? I am working on Alchemy and they way leveling Alchemy goes is by the potion's value (much like smithing) So just post the most expensive potions you know of. Also, if possible, if these potions could include easy-to-find ingredients that would be awesome.

Restoration loop will make you rich, but it's an exploit.

Make Invisibility potions. Get lots of Chaurus Eggs from Frostflow Lighthouse. Get Luna Moth Wings from area around Whiterun, Rorikstead and Talking Stone Camp (you only get Luna Moths between 8pm-11pm, they are usually near to Torchbug's)

Slow potion is good as well. Salt Pile and Deathbell. Also try Glow Dust, Glowing Mushroom and Blue Mountain Flower. Try Blue Mountain Flower and Hanging Moss. You get quite a lot of Hanging Moss from the Solitude Catacombs.

If you haven't done so don't forget to boost your created potions with Muiri's Ring, Alchemy Necklace etc.

Go there, scroll down to "Selling Concoctions" section. They list the 10 most expensive potions you can brew up. Depending on your skills and enchanted gear etc your mileage may vary, but the numbers they list give you an idea of relative value.

To make money, I make following potions. The ingredients are common and the potions fetch good coin.

Salt + Deathbell = Slow Poison (my favorite since salt is the most common ingredient)
Salt + Garlic + Juniper Berries = Regenerate Health + Regenerate Magicka (also useful)
Blue Mountain Flower + Blue Butterfly Wing = Potion of Damage Magicka.
Blue Mountain Flower + Blue Butterfly Wing + Giant Toe = Big money
Hanging Moss + Bear Claw + Giant Toe
Chaurus Eggs --> invisibility
