Why is my PS3 connection so slow when playing online? : V

Ok ever since my parents got this new wireless router, my ps3 has been lagging when playing online. I have a good connection of 100%, but some how its still been going slow. Any suggestion?

You may want to restart this in Community Discussion; Skyrim has no online play.
