So, I've basically been playing Skyrim with nothing but vanilla armor, since most mods I saw didn't suit my taste. I'm getting rather tired of it though, so I browsed through the first 20 or so pages on nexus and steam workshop, but nothing really jumped out at me.

I'm looking for a nice, "sensible" armor for a female spellsword, i.e. something along the lines of armored robes would be great, but I'm open to anything. By sensible I mean I won't use skimpy armor, but it doesn't have to hyper-realistic either. I'd also like it to be light armor.

Has anyone found/created an armor like this and would like to recommend it?

I don't know so much about light vs heavy, but look for the stuff hothtrooper44 has put out.

These all look good, I especially like the Redguard Warrior, but it doesn't have a female version. Same goes for some of hothtrooper's other nice armors.

I'm using j'zargo and illia at the moment, using the deadric Mage armor and dragonbone mage armor. Then my main character is a sword and shield warrior using barathon armor.

I personally think the deadric and dragon one Mage armors are the best a mage can wear
