Hello all i'm new to this fourm & i have a question, i'm on Ps3 & on my first playthrough of Skyrim back in december of 2011 i could use the grinstone on the Nightingale Blade & make it better but now i can't, with my new characters i can't improve the Nightingale blade at all? is this a bug? - Againstallodds14

Nightingale blade has some sort of enchantment, right? Do you have arcane enchanter perk in smithing? You need that perk to improve an enchanted item.

Yes, i do. i have all of the smithing perks.

Ah, the highest level Nightingale Blade cannot be tempred. A known bug.

I guess you got the blade after level 46.

Yup first playthrough i got it at level i think 35 & on my second playthrough i got it on level 81, oh well thanks for the info.
