Does anyone know if Ulfric's Clothes, Boots, and Glove have an armor rating?

Only his bracers have a rating of 5. The rest (outfit and boots) is clothes.

This. ^

If you want a set you can:
Spoiler
1) Join the Imperials and you'll...um...eventually get a set.
2) Pickpoket them off of Thane Bryling in Solitude if you have Perfect Touch.

Except when you wear them they won't look like they do when he wears them. Or is that only for female characters? I think it's only for female characters. WHICH svckS.

Oh and BTW if the OP is on PC there is a mod that will change them to Heavy Armor and let you craft a set for yourself. But they still won't look the same when you wear them if you are a lady. Or if like me you are not a lady but still of the female persuasion. :P

Oh, is the clothes Bryling wears the female version of Ulfric's clothes? I love those clothes! Too bad I'm doing the Imperial CW questline with a male... :( (And I don't think I can bring myself to kill Ulfric twice, so I doubt there will be another time.)

I guess I'll have to wait for those clothes until I'll do a thief with high enough pickpocket skill... :( Though I heard a rumor about "noble's clothes" that could be found in a certain warehouse... Are those the same?

The "Noble's Clothes" are actually the Emperor's robes (can be acquired twice at the end of a certain questline) , with a slight color/pattern change, I think.

Also, since I still don't understand it, does anyone know if Bryling/Idgrod's outfit appears like Ulfric's outfit on male characters? (since Ulfric's does so vica-versa) Or does it have an unique appearance?

They don't look the same on female characters, that's true. I have that mod. On my female character they look like Idgrod Ravencrone's outfit. http://i678.photobucket.com/albums/vv146/gmosko/Skyrim/veledacrop.jpg
edit- But I still think they look quite good. I consider that my Stormcloak's dress armor.

...And I'm not doing that questline either for a while.

I think it's mean that it's so hard to get the really good-looking clothes in the game. :( The other set of clothes I want is Elisif's...

Yeah, the Emperor's have sharper corners to the design and the Noble's are more curved and the gold is darker. :P

UESP says this about Bryling's clothes:
  • As of the most recent Skyrim Patch (1.5.26.0.5), pickpocketing this item does not work.

What.
I'm not even putting a question mark up there.
That's a bummer. Why not let people have their fancy clothing, it's not like Bryl can't buy new garments.
