Some suggestions I have...

1 - Show subtotals of weight carried next to their name in the inventory.
Weapons = 50
Apparell = 77
Potions = 25

That kinda thing. It would make it much easier to manage our weight.

2 - Bring back the falling down mechanic when you run out of stamina.
There is no reason not to spam power attacks + stamina abilities

3 - make heavy armor reduce archery damage by 50% for whatever area that it is worn on
no reason to aim for different body parts currently. I always aim center mass.
Lots of NPCs wear heavy armor but few wear helmets. This would be a cool reason to go for the head shots

4 - fix soul gems.
If I have one of each type of empty gem and I kill a critter with a common size soul...put it in the common soul gem.
Only go up to a greater soul gem if there are no commons available. currently the game uses the largest gem no matter
what size soul you get. If you kill a mudcrab and you have an empty petty soul gem and an empty grand soul gem
guess what? You just filled a grand soul gem with a petty soul.

More suggestions will follow. That is all for now.

I manage weight by dropping anything that isn't a 10:1 ratio (think I said that right). Anything that is worth 10 gold per 1 weight I will take. Then after that I just drop the lowest ratio item.

Love the ideas :)

Are you sure about this? Because I've carried up to 2 dozen or more gems of various sizes in my inventory and never noticed a problem with all the larger gems being filled with smaller souls while the smaller gems remained empty. In fact I remember being very pleased when I finally killed something that actually turned out to have a Grand soul and would fill one of the empty Grand gems I'd been lugging around for ages.

Hmm I will have to double check that Lyn. Now that I think about it I'm not exactly positive about the mechanic. I will have to test it now.

This is how it works now, at least for me.

Also, if you find that you filled a grand soul gem with petty soul, you can empty it out by dropping it on the floor.
