The smithing and enchanting stuff

I have both of these at 100 so I decided to find out. I got 4 armour pieces of 25% better of improving and smithed and upgrade a Daedric bow to 84 damage. I don't get the thing here, that is high damage but not in the 300 zone. Alchemy is what causes this then. Without potions smithing and enchanting are balanced out.

You can't stack enchantments. You were only working with 25% better improving.

Alchemy+Enchantment does stack. Get a buff of enchanting with Alchemy (may need to do this a few times to push them to +25% or better) and then try to mix better improving enhantment/potion.

Both, on their own, are equally balanced. It's when the two get together that they break the game, since the devs failed to prevent stacking of enchantments and potions.

But then how does reduction work on four pieces of armour for magic reduction. Never mind, I know now that they don't stack the same way a magic reduction costs.

It's obvious you don't know what you're talking about.

Go and try to improve something with a 25% fortify smithing gear. Then try again with two 25% fortify smithing pieces of gear. Then come back and say that again.

Do you have the Daedric Smithing perk? All 5 levels of the Overdraw (Archery) perk? Archery skill at 100?

Not only is your first sentence false. You clearly haven't been paying attention. Any two of the three and you will be ok. Once you add in the third Alch, is when the infinate loop comes into play and breaks the game.

There is no infinite loop. It only takes two to three loops of alchemy enchanting before you hit the max that you can enchant your gear to.
