I figured I would try here with this issue as Google has not yielded anything useful.

Since launch, I've used Lydia as my follower, equiping her with legendary ebony gear and taking care of her. When I finally got around to doing the marriage side quests, I figured, "Why not?"

When the time came, she disapeared and went into the temple. When I went in there, I saw a bunch of people, but no Lydia. I waited using the 1-hour rest sequences, but still no Lydia. Eventually, everone got ticked off and left. I was thinking she would be outside, but nothing. I've checked my houses, the temple, and Dragonsreach, but found nothing. I even tried picking up another follower in hopes that she would spawn inside the Breezehome, but nothing.

I can backdate a save, but it's at the loss of several hours worth of gameplay.

Any tips anyone can offer?
