Trivial problem bothering me : V

So...i recently crafted a glass bow,upgraded it and i would make it my default bow.
So i went to my riften rome to enchant it and rename it "Tamriel's Bow" but i can't,because when i type ' it opens the friggin console

What could i possibly do?

But...it doesn't have the same awesome feel,it's naming is based off Auriel's Bow.

Hm, my keyboard (United Kingdom Keyboard) has the ' sign two spaces right of the L key. I guess you could go into the language options in the Control Panel and temporarily change the language settings to a UK one then launch the game and type the name in.

There may be a console code you can use to edit an item's name, I don't really know.

The key to open the console is the tilde ~ key. The key for a single quote is the single/double quote key next to ENTER. The single quote ' works just fine for me.

I don't know if this will work in Skyrim, but in Oblivion I used to hit the tilde key (') twice and it would work...

Edit: or you could try a copy and paste...copy from notepad and use 'ctrl v' ingame to paste...worth a try.

Because your using tilde, not the apostrophe key.

Try the ^~ key to the right of the C with the squiggle on it.

On a US keyboard, that's where the single/double quote key is ...
