Was just wondering if the bug that occurs when you get the sapling instead of the sap still happens.

For those who don't know, the sapling will grow inside the old tree, an the old tree won't dissapear.

Was just wondering as I am about to do this mission and wanted to know if it would be worth it to choose the sapling.

I don't think so. Though it's a shame that something so big and obvious isn't fixed already.
