The Thalmor wage all out war on Skyrim!

... In the next DLC...maybe?

Ok, ok, ok, so I know it's a bit soon for this, considering the first DLC isnt even available on all platforms yet... but still.

I've already killed every thalmor agent I could find and I keep going back to the embassy to kill all the thalmor there but its just not enough.

I think it would make an awesome DLC and Im curious what everyone else thinks on the subject.

I don't mind either way, but it really did calm Gutslit a bit knowing he wasn't fully surrounded by Thalmor like he was in Elsweyr. He still will kill the ones hanging around on sight, but he's become less angry and violent. By about 10%. Not much.

Have a http://images.uesp.net/c/c4/Fishystick.jpgif you have not got one.

And thalmor atatcking Skyrim seems reasonable because they want to deactivate the snow-throat tower.

It would be cool, but I would like them to lead the Thalmor Storyline into the next game, but that's just me.

I doubt the Thalmor would attack Skyrim unless the civil war questline hasn't been completed. Otherwise a) the empire would be too strong or b ) the stormcloaks would be too strong. The Thalmor are leaning heavily on their hope that the civil war continues until both sides are exhausted and they can sieze the moment.

The Thalmor aren't very powerful as it is from what I've read. The second Great War screwed them over and they lost tons of troops. Maybe they got stronger after that?

Not possible, Thalmor is in Valenwood. It is in the opposite side of Tamriel and there is Cyrodill in the middle of them. Before Thalmor can move the army to Skyrim they need to conquer Cyrodill first which mean the empire will be gone. The change and involment is too much. Won't show in DLC

I would like to see more of the Thalmor - Empire - Stormcloak political interactions. As much as I hate the Thalmor, they are an interesting organization. I would like to see more of them. However, waging all out war now would be too soon I think.

I'd definitely like to see more of the Thalmore. They were really more of an interesting antagonist than the dragons were in some ways. I've started playing again recently and it's got me to thinking about them. I think the ban on worshipping Talos was just a pretext to allow them to send their agents to Skyrim. The question is why, what plans do they have for Skyrim? Being able to delve more into that would be really interesting. Driving them out or at least thwarting one of their plans could make a good DLC. If it was writen well of course.

Their client states are Elsweyr(sadly...) and they kind of forced Valenwood into all this. They are mainly around Summerset Isles, though.

Yea true, either way their territory is too far for them to do all out war to Skyrim. They got both hammerfall and Cyrodill as their main threat at the moment

If they reach so far into skyrim they will make their army spread too thin, so it won't happen

It is unfortunate that Elsweyr has come under Thalmor influence. What's worse is that the Thalmor probably lied to the khajiit people.

well... if the Thalmor keep the truce with cyrodill there could be a route established for troops and supply. plus skyrims northern coast is wide open. Easy to bring a fleet of ships from valenwood. not sure where they would get those ships from though...

I disagree, the Thalmor already won once when the two factions were united. This is why the Storm cloaks (IMO) are dumb for waging civil war, just to take on the Thalmor with an even weaker force. :/

I dont think its dumb to fight for something that you believe just to please the evil Thalmor for a time. The liberation of Skyrim was needed IMO.
