My Idea on Lockpick

First I'd like to make a disclaimer that this isn't a complaint thread. I like lockpick as is, these are more aestics that I think would make the game more logical and also would probably lead to more useful Lockpicking perks.

I was consider for a second that there are several type of chest, doors, and what not. And consider what if each type had a special way of lockpicking them. I find it silly that a Dwemer, masters of technology would hold their chest with flismy locks.

For Dwemer lockpicks I was considering more of a dial, think like a slot machine. But the way a old fashion padlock works. You dial through the phases of the Moon or the Stars. Or maybe just a number code. Same with Dwemer doors.

Next we have the normal, bandit chest, and more "human" doors that should stay the same as lock picks.

The last type is Falmer chest, whom are more of a magical race are they not? What if their lockpicks were more magical or acanic. Like a rune dial. Like if you have played Kingdoms of Almer something more like that.

These are just ideas, but I think it would lead to better lockpicking perks, imo and make the game more immersive, imo. This isn't a nit picking thread, these were just ideas as stated.

I agree, also I liked the oblivion lock pick personally, could at least throw in some of those here and there. Though I personally don't like the lockpicking perk tree but eh.
