Cicero The Worse Assassin

Post » Fri Jul 06, 2012 1:13 am

Okay, the way NPC followers do combat and have skills needs to be way differently. Half of the time enemies detect Cicero. You'd think an assassin like Cicero would have an AI intelligent system implemented him that allowed to apply stealth combat, but no. Half the time he gets detected; I have to come over and save his ass by sneak attacks.

Agree, especially Lucien Lachance he did not live up to his title of legendary assassin.

Yeah and when you tell him to kill someone, he doesn't sneak up and perform an assassination... He runs over to them screaming "stabstabstabstabstabstabstabstab!", which the enemy is more than happy to do to him.

Worse is this. You know how people complained Meeko pushed them during combat. No no.Cicero pushes me while I'm trying to be stealthy sneaky all the time. There goes my thought on two assassins traveling together.

This problem exists with more then just Cicero. Every NPC follower svcks at stealth even those in the DB or in the Thieves Guild.

this is why, if u want to be a stealthy business, its best not to have any followers. WOULD YOU want to have lydia with you while you are going to rob a house that is heavily guarded?!
In a nutshell, if you want to be a sneaky person, best to be alone.

I tried to sneak by quite a few people in the quests were they were involved and they nearly always got caught. Bunch of idiots.

assassins do not have followers.

as i did the db questline and saw that they start to give me followers i was like: "wtf do i want with a follower? i one shot everything anyways as an assassin so what do i want with a follower?"

cicero is one of the most interesting characters in the game, but a useless follower.

Sometimes you need more than one. If there's say a few guards and they can see each other perfectly well they're gonna notice you and quickly warn your target, sometimes two ppl need to be hit at the same time, obviously guards in skyrim aren't that clever but still.
