Urgent! HELP! Need Skyrim install

Post » Sat Jul 07, 2012 12:29 am

OK so here's what happened:
My nephew was playing Skyrim and mom passed, she accidentally tripped over the "Plug & Charge" kit, and the Xbox shifted (because the cable was connected into the Xbox at that point in time).

Now the problem is that Skyrim's my bro's game (meaning that he'll blow a fuse if/when he finds out what happened to the game).

When the Xbox shifted there was some sort of noise and the Skyrim disk ended up getting scraqed and cracked, but thankfully the Xbox still sees the game...but when I try to install it, it only reached 83% and then crashed (so that I couldn't install it to the HDD). This is why I need someone to upload the install file (if you don't know how to I can assist in guiding you through the process, once it is that you're willing to help).

Also if need be, I can take pics of the game disc to prove that I actually own it (and that I'm not trying some sort of con or something). So please, any willing party, please help!!

P.S: The install files is 3.8GB in size, so whoever is willing to help...we'll have to use dropbox (or a similar program) to send the files across (in a simple way). So I would just use an email address and create a dropbox account, give the willing party the password and account name, they'd in turn upload the files to drop box...and then that'll be it! I thank you in anticipation!

Also if you're wondering why I want the files it because once I have the files then the disc won't spin, so I won't get the freezing that I get when I try to start it up right now

yes but how is this illegal? This isn't a crack or anything like that...it's as if I installed a game to my Xbox, put it on my flash drive, and then put it on a friend's Xbox because his disk is scratched or has a disc read error or something like that, so how is doing something that's legal in the eyes of microsoft wrong? or "Prohibited"??

I couldn't possibly use this for piracy, cause they'd have to own the game disc to play the game in the first place...

Asking for uploads of any game data is considered piracy.

The problem is clearly that the data can't be read on the broken part of the disk. Solution thats legal? Get a new disk.
