im suffering an amusing problem right now

it all started with my first follower - uthgred the unbroken

so far i have enjoyed the displeasure of no less than four followers - 3 male and uthgred....and all have died in perplexing incidents ...

the murder of uthgred was in solitude...such a satisfying kill i have never known , her ugly neck on my chilled steel .....satisfaction personified

so when , 4 days later i am skulking in riften feeling sulky and slightly guilty - for uthgred was ( despite being a painfully limited woman) a talented warrior and i missed her - i am not surprised to find a courier rather unbashdly informing me of uthgreds death , and handing me 270 gold septims to sweeten the honey.

since then i have received no less than an additional 5 inheritance letters - as you can imagine im getting rather fat ( in gold) off her death

it started in whiterun , a courier ran up to me in the street , giving me 2 letters ( identical) commemorating her loss

after that ( now getting slight maddening) yet another courier appeared in the windhelm dockyards...with yet another two letters

after that i thought - after five of them - uthgards spirit had finally stopped tormenting me . but no . in rorkistead 24 hours ago a dreaded courier spawns , this time handing me another "letter of inheritance" from - surprise surprise - the beloved uthgred.

in life she was sullen . in death she is bitter.

anyone else had a guilt trip from the couriers?

You know, I was tempted to marry Uthgerd just so she would have to change her title. Now I'm glad I didn't.
