I'm no hoarder

Just kidding I am... Was. I was in a silver hand refuge and thought as I was picking up a potion and looking in my inventory I saw all my SHIIET (wish I could post a picture of it all but no one feels like telling me) then I dropped it all in a stairwell. I dropped everything I didn't use from misc potions weapons armor food ingredients and books I had like 419 weight now I have 149... Wow 0_o. And I was thinking were does my guy keep all my SHIIET. I think Bethesda should (originally typed odh but auto correct changed it to should... Uhhh k win I guess...) have a limit to carrieable items so people need to watch what they pick up so they have enough room in their pack to pick up other things like loot. What do you think of my idea? Drop all your useless things and take a picture of and post it so we can see! ;)

There is a limit, it's called carry weight. When you are carrying more than your limit allows you can't run, sprint, or fast travel unless on horseback. In older TES games your character couldn't move at all while over-encumbered.

I like to only grab things that have a value-to-weight ratio of 10/1 (1 weight unit being worth 10 coins) or higher. Then I take it back to my home and organize it between stuff I'll need later on for that character (like good potions, ingots/ore for blacksmithing, or soulgems for enchanting) and crap I won't be needing like extra armor, weapons, misc items. Then I'll sell the crap when the shops open or just hoard them and when the list gets big, I'll make rounds to the different cities, selling til it's all gone. If the list of excess items gets huge I like quicksave and then drop it all on the floor just to look at the pile it will make, then reload.

also the title immediately reminded me of this http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Vcx6UbMCtfI.

Not quite a carry limit if you can carry 500 pounds of stuff... Like were does it go?
