I've always been fascinated with the Dwemer. I've play every elder scrolls game and only meet one, some people say that they so stay gone because they love the mystery behind them. But I'm of the opposite opinion I would really love to see them in the future I think that Bethesda should dedicate a hole game to unraveling the mystery with them and bring them back. That's just my opinion but what do you guys think should they come back or stay gone?

Their could be some alive since it didn't effect anyone in other realms. Any dwarf in oblivion would have been fine. Would be hard to find any though since the dwemer as a culture hated the daedra. One survived this way so it is entirely possible more did.

I like the Dwemer, but they're best as they are now. Dead, and a mystery. Having the Dwemer be alive, and knowing everything about them would ruin their appeal.

This is exactly how I was like when I first got in to the elderscroll series. Loved all the lore and the mystery behind them. However, they will most likely never be coming bak for the following reasons: 1. Their cities are the perfect dungeons. 2. According to the lore, the entire race met a rather unspectacular fate given their fascinating history. They supposedly became the gold/bronze/brass skin of Anumidum. Well thalmor might try to bring back Numidium if it's not deactivated yet, since they need to deactivate the towers to unmake reality.

I know this. My whole point was if he survived others could have. As for them actually returning I'm neutral to it.

I'm fascinated by them too but am I the only one who thinks the return of them would be I don't a bit lame? If you read lore you get a pretty big picture of what happen to them. They should just stay dead IMO.

They became the skin of Anumidum. If they came back,all of Tamriel would be phuckt. Everyone likes to forget the Dwemer were wholly evil and immensely powerful. If they just came back, they would change the entire course of Tamriel.

Were all of them evil? The one in morrowind seemed alright and I remember reading somewhere that the dwarven king was friends with nervar and that he didn't actually know about the anumidum. So perhaps they aren't as evil as portrayed as the high elves aren't evil because of the thalmor.
