Ideas on improving Skyrim

Last night while playing I noticed something about the game and its bugging me. All the the weapons of the same type look exactly the same. For example all steel swords look the same, all elven swords look identical. The armor's are the same way. A little variety would be nice. Making small differences in the weapons and armor to change their look, so instead of having 10 steel swords that are literally identical, make it to were they have different blades, handles, hand guards, or even different inlays and patterns. I understand during the initial development of the game they were limited on memory and could not do this, but with the awesome power of the internet it would be as simple as just making a download of nothing but different armors and weapons. And with a few tweaks they could be integrated into the game so their in random loot, NPC's like bandits are randomly generated with them. And don't just simply allow players to have instant access to the through smithing, have basically the equivalent of alchemy recipe's but for smithing, placing those in dungeon chests and on high level enemies like dragons. Something like this would only extend the replay value of the game because when you've gone through White river watch about a hundred times, you need more of an excuse than just "kill everyone."

Thoughts, Ideas, Gripes, Golden nuggets of wisdom?

It would be nice to see different looking steel swords, the only problem would be that these swords wouldn't stack unless you found a sword with the exact same hilt, blade, etc. Obviously this would clutter your inventory and clutter the blacksmithing menu. I suggest simply allowing to dye clothing/armor then it would be alittle more unique and depending if someone is a hoarder or not shouldn't clutter their inventory or chests to much.

They need to push character development for future DLC.
*Possible dawngaurd spoiler* - Serana was a rather well-rounded character, ironically the first in this entire installment.
