Question about Master difficulty

Post » Sun Jul 08, 2012 8:04 am

Question: Is there any reason to take pride in playing on master difficulty, i mean if you can just change the difficulty at any time would that not defeat the purpose of a master playthrough? And are there master difficulty trophies?

No, there are no master trophies. Difficulty is purely optional. Some people do take pride because they play on Master, but if you keep changing the difficulty, then you can't really say you play on Master.

It makes the game more challenging and some people such as myself find enjoyment in that. No cheevos or trophies.

Depending on your play-style, you can have a more challenging time playing on Novice than if you use everything you can at master difficulty.

I've only ever played the game on Master difficulty. Never tried it on any other settings. I find it more enjoyable to harder a game is.

I prefer the default setting, adept. It's comfortable for me, enough room for roleplay and enough challenge for enjoyment.
