This thread contains spoilers. Turnback if you have not completed the main quest. Okay, so yesterday I got to Sovngarde and was ready to face Alduin. I was on Master difficulty, had a ton of potions and enchanted gear lined up for this fight. Right after we cleared the skys and Alduin began to attack, my controller died. By the time I came back with new batteries(3 minutes max), the other three killed Alduin. Why would they make the most powerful boss in game a weakling? Alduin surpasses Mehrunes Dagon in power and has destroyed the world multiple times since hte beginning of Time itself. I call this weaksauce.

What they should have done is,
A: Given Alduin a shout that would banish the spirits aiding you half way through the fight and
B: Given Alduin the stats of the highest level dragon you could encounter at your level with a fortify everything 50% ability. So in essence if you did the quest late enough to encounter ancient dragons he'd be 50% more powerful then an ancient dragon, and with dawnguard the potental for 50% more powerful then a legendary.

I agree. And they should have made the fight more dynamic such as him grabbing you and carrying you to some canyon in Sovngarde or something. Just something to change things up.

With the 3 heroes along I just felt like I was in their way. I shouted and fired a few arrows. by the time I hit him with the blades dragonslayer blade...he was already dead...sigh.

those guys helping you fight must have been pritty freakin strong

On my first play through, tsun got hit and started fighting too. The whole fight probably lasted 2 or 3 minutes on master difficulty. On my second play through, I decided not to use dragon rend.
