Any Death Penalty Mods?

Are there any death penalty mods out there? I know about and have used http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/16311, but it doesn't look like it's supported anymore, and I'm not a big fan of "ghost mode". So I was wondering if someone knows about a mod that penalizes you for dying? Otherwise it just seems like "Who cares if I die!" Dying doesn't mean anything; you just reload from your last save and keep on going until you finally make it through. I surely can't be the only one who feels this way... Any mod suggestions? Thanks.

Try playing a Dead Is Dead game. I was reluctant for a long time, eventually decided I would try it for a few hours with a new character, and then I was hooked. Everything in the games becomes so much more meaningful if you can lose ALL progress by dying!

I'm not sure what kind of different penalty you would be looking for through a mod?

Yeah, I thought about playing Dead is Dead. SM Essential Player has a hardcoe ghost mode, where if you die, you lose all your items. I like that idea, however, I would have preferred to wake up in some other location, as have been suggested on that mod page, and only have some of your items missing (would make it more realistic, I think). Thanks for the suggestion. Might try it :)

Anyone else with suggestions? Why I like the sound of Dead is Dead, I'm not a fan of having to restart the game from the very beginning... I'm primarily looking for a mod that makes you afraid of dying...

You might have tapped the well for this sort of deal. As for preventing loading saves, I get the impression mods can't do that, so you're pretty much left to willpower stopping you from doing it.
