oblivion assets found in skyrim BSA

while browsing the skyrim textures BSA, i happened across the texture for the oblivion iron short sword. is this a poke at the modders? or just bethesda oversight?

Might've been leftover from testing. Is it just the texture, or is it used in the CK for an object?
