Suggestion for online mailing system using couriers

Hello everyone,

I'll get straight to the point.Any online functionality in games makes them live longer, people tend to play it through many more times because they like to share what they have achieved. I know, I know, skyrim is single player game, most don't want to have multiplayer in this game (eventho atleast 2 people co-op would be awesome) and it would mess up the system. However I was thinking why not to make online item trading in a very simple but cool way, which would keep the game single player and make it feel less lonely, with ability to share your achievements.

HOW WOULD IT WORK?

1. make an in-game post office.
2. talk to NPC and then you will be able to write a letter with some text to any of your online friends (choose from your friendlist)
3. Attach an item to your letter and send it

WHAT's NEXT?

a courier run up to your friend while he's playing, just like normal in game couriers do, says his line about a letter from a friend and an item attached to it and gives it to you. To make it faster you could also go to post office and pick up the item yourself.

So mailing system is already in game, this would just expand it with online funcionality . IMO it would add so much to the game and it wouldn't mess up with anything. It would give new meaning to naming your items and so on.

What do you think guys?
