4J Studios

Do You Think 4J Studios Would Of Made A Better Port Of Skyrim Then What Bethesda Has. I Remember Playing Oblivion Smoothly No Crashes And Only Encountered 2 Annoying Glitches. But The Graphics Aren't Like The Ones In Skyrim So Maybe That's Why It Ran So Smoothly.

I have the GOTY edition of Oblivion with over 200 hours in, my save is less than 4mb and there is stuff thrown all over the place. I went back recently I thought "what a mess, what kind of a pig lives here?" In Skyrim 30 hours in, pick everything up and sold it. I'm the Skyrim cleaner and got a 6mb file. 150 hours, 15mb save. Its basically the same game, why do save files have to be that big?

To me the closest comparison is how FO3 performed. It is still a bloody mess on the PS3, so if you just compare those two titles then I'd have to guess that 4J could have done a better job on the PS3.

That said, Bethesda could have done a better job, too.

They choose not to do a better job. The debacle of 11.11.11, and the glacially slow pace to fix things is not a function of their competence. It is a function of there apathy.
