Taking the advice and knowledge that too many HD/Texture mods can cause the game the miss loading things, I dumped my retexture mods - Terrain Bump, the HD DLC Pack, Everything by Optic Shooter, even the Snow and Ice re-dos. Still the interior of Helgen won't work correctly.
I am now honestly at a loss as to what to do. There is not a single mod I can think of that would causing this problem - the only texture/mesh mods I had left was running was Bella, CBBE and Killer Kleo's Armor for CBBE, which I've played several characters with before and not had this issue.
I don't even know if its possible for the other mods to be causing these issues, as they should have no effect on Helgen - but somehow, it still doesn't work.
I'm willing to go for it one more time, but this is ridiculous. Nothing in any of the mods I use ever describes these kinds of issues, almost none of them list any potenial conflicts, all of them have been updated for 1.6 or never had an issue with 1.6 to start with and all seem to work just fine on their own, or just fine for everyone else. I know to BOSS, Bash and NMM and all that jazz, but it hasn't helped in this case - BOSS lists no conflicts or warnings, BASH only merges two things, and NMM says nothing.
And I KNOW the first thing someone is going to say is "Well, do them one at a time!".
Except that isn't full-proof, because even if I get Helgen to work, and then decide they all work, something like the Blue Palace or Dragon's Reach might not work. Further, many of these mods you wouldn't be able to tell with out playing for a few hours anyway.
So I want to know. I'm going to list every mod I plan on using in order of importance, in addition to the vital stats from my computer. Can you as the forum do what the tools cannot and spot the culprit or conflict? Or tell me due to my computer specs where exactly the overload point is on mods that I have lined up.
This will be from a fresh install of Skyrim - I deleted everything related to Skyrim from the Documents and Program Files folders. Every single mod is as up-date as the Nexus or Steam Workshop has it listed.
