The Dreamweaver

Post » Tue Jul 10, 2012 5:38 am

The Dreamweaver are of arcane nature, they worship dreams and visions of the future. Or what they believe to be visions of the future. They rely on potent potions to induce visions and induce dreams, generally these potions are of a potent toxic kind. Most of the Dreamweavers had fled normal practices of society and had gone on to live in the wilds of the woods. They are not of druid nature, for they are into the art of entropic natures and spiritualism. Many Dreamweavers have had to rely on their natural gifts of inducing intoxicating dreams, for what they believe to be the future. They are guided by the stars, guided by fate and magic.

When in combat they rely heavily on twisting and confusing their enemies minds with powerful Illusions. They are twisters fo fate and knowledge, astrology, dreams, and tarots are an important way of their life. They have no formal government, they are more nomadic than a stationary society. They are found in the deep woods or deep mountainous regions. Most of the population of Dreamweavers are Breton, but they have not denied another race from joining. People may join them if they please, but you may be denied if you cannot see the dreams.

They worship Deadric Princes, all though more importantly they worship Vaermina, but refuse to equate themselves with any of her other followers. Saying they are not blessed with sight beyond sight. They feel that those whom claim to worship Vaermina are ones blinded by their bindings to the physical realm. The Dreamweavers can be found mostly anywhere that has deep woods. Their populace is of High Elves, oddly enough, and Bretons with minor population of Imperials and Nords, as well as other races Dunmer as well. They have been unaffected by the racism of the empires simply because they have given up forming any ties to society as it was.

Now another Dreamweaver does as what is asked of him. I have finally done it, made a character I haver for a very long time wanted to create. His name is Vishion, simply Vishion. He is a Breton, all though things about him appear odd here and there. Within the culture he grew up racial relationships do begin. At first the Dreamweaver class/society was merely a cult, indoctrinating people within their ranks. Now as the generations have passed, the indoctrination is now simply what is built upon their culture.

Vishion the son of a Breton and High Elf, is to embark on his journey away from his clan. The Pilgrimage of Dreams. He is to seek Vaermina and to pay his dos to her, and either he succeeds and is blessed with dreams or he fails and is forever exiled from his clan. Vishion naturally succeeds, but his Pilgrimage does not stop from there. He must also bring back knowledge beyond knowledge and sight beyond sight. Gifted and called a prodigy because he is the first Dreamweaver whom does not drink the elixir to induce visions.

Vishion is your first TES epileptic. Vishon sees things beyond sight during his seizures, his seizures are said to bring him closer to the planes of Oblivion and closer to the Deadric Princes that they do worship. To see visions he induces seizures.

He uses staffs and various illusions in combat. He's most known for using the Skull of Corruption, the gift Vaermina left him.

This is the image I used to model for customization and I did built something quite alikeness to this. This image is the image I have used for Vishion for many TES RPs, but I never built him in game until now: http://oi46.tinypic.com/2njymtv.jpg

Here is his build: http://skyrimcalculator.com/#154674

If there is anything I need to add, don't be afraid to tell me. I do feel his build may be lacking, but maybe it isn't. And anyone have an idea where I can get robes similiar to the ones in the picture? I'm think those Black Mage Robes, but I wouldn't no where to find them.

How about the Redguard Hood and enchant it, and then some kind of robe I can use with it?

Thank you.

Very well written. About the robes, I've found some from Conjurers that spawn at Cragwallow Slope. But the robes will sometimes change (times hood, sometimes no hood). I was lucky once and found a plain black one with a hood.

Guess I'll be shopping around for things to find on a shelf. I don't wear clothes off of dead bodies. And I won't be fast traveling only walking.

I think your best bet for shopping would be mage college but I bet you already know that :P I wish you luck if I find any more robes that would look good with it I let you know

Well you could say you want allies for your clan or look for other powerful magic users to join if they are worthy

Gotta admit that I'm tired, but... am I missing something here...? Why not use, well, the actual Vaermina Robes? Like, aren't there Dreamweavers in the game wearing their own robes? :lmao: Or huh?

http://elderscrolls.wikia.com/wiki/Vaermina_Robes They come with hoods too IIRC. Like exactly similar as your picture...

I just thought I got something wrong here because none of the posters above actually seemed to recall/know about those robes. Glad to be of help! :)

Aren't there hoods too? In my mind the people in Nightcaller Temple definitely are hooded... Waiting for clarification. :P
