First time you played Skyrim ..

Post » Thu Jul 12, 2012 11:15 am

What was your reaction to the game?

What did you think about the game?

Was it what you expected The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim to be?

I am just asking this because my friend from College told me the first time he played the game he was .. freaking out because he thinks it has the best graphics of all time. He has not been able to stop playing it *he also did bad in college because of it*, and he tells me it's good and the best game ever. (also i was the one that recommened him to get the game)

So?

I loved the whole cart-ride-and-execution opening the first time. I loved the mountains, the running streams, the music, the atmosphere. It's hard to explain it in words, but I felt, strangely, like this was home, virtually speaking. Nearly everything about the game just "clicked" with me.

I thought it was a very good game and still think it's a very good game. The environment still amazes me.

What was your reaction to the game?
Fake and Gay. A coworker suggested the game and at first I hated how the mechanics of it worked. Graphics were moderately apealing at best. I was definitely a hater.

What did you think about the game?

How about how I now view the game? I think it's a timeless classic like all the other Elder Scroll games.

Was it what you expected The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim to be?

No, but I think it's better that way.

My first impression was amazement at the art style. Skyrim seemed sooo different from Oblivion (I thought Cyrodiil was beautiful though). What impressed me the most was the new character models. My character nearly got whiplash from looking back and forth at the NPCs in the wagon.

Being an Elder Scrolls veteran I immediately appreciated the new inclusions and missed puzzlingly the ommissions.

I know developers have to make each game in a series DIFFERENT enough from the last so they dont end up like the yearly sports/wrestling titles but jesus christ!

It was amazing, the opening cinematic was so realistic and then Alduin came along before the execution, it was crazy. I had NEVER touched a game that has amazed me as much as Skyrim. ^_^
