I recently downloaded Dawnguard and I would love to complete it but everytime i talk to anyone to have them follow me they say "you already have a follower" when i do not have a follower. it is very annoying . Has anyone else experienced this?

Right. But if you were a PC player and you had started your thread with "I recently installed several mods... " you would be directed to the mods forum tout suite.

And that is relevant to my particular case why? Im playing Skyrim on Xbox 360.

This is an olddddd issue with this game where followers will completely disappear but remain your follower. I recommend that you go back to the location of your last follower to see if you can get them to stop following you.

I have no idea where that was....
