Playing on PS3 and wanted to start a new character - old one became too complete. So I created a new one - new game - YET when I wanted to revisit my main character he was gone, all gone :-(

Anyone?

Please drop 2 Flawless Sapphires, a Mammoth Tusk, and gold ore into the fish barrel next to the Ratway entrance or you'll never see your character again.

This has happened to me before. Sometimes the autosave glitches and overwrites your most recent manually saved game rather than starting a new slot. I've taken to creating a duplicate save for my main if I ever want to start a new character.

To the constructive replies: Thanks, and yeah, I guess it glitched out. Kinda sad.
And to the comedians: get jobs.

Yeah, it cracked me up.. My one and only character whom I've spent a butt load of hours on, is gone. Now wait, that IS fun!

I apologize if my post seemed rude and dismissive of your issue. I was hoping a little comedy would ease the anger and frustration of losing a save file.

I don't own a PS3, so I couldn't help with advice.

PS3 user here. Yep... been there, done that, got the t-shirt....

Best advice? Get a usb memory key. Back up your old saves onto it before starting a new character. Best way to avoid that situation.

No biggie, really :)
It just bugs me, that's it

I might as well do so. But it kinda makes you like the game less, doesn't it?
