What do you think about the ending?

*She

And you are right, I wasn't the hero Martin was. All I did was close Oblivion gates, but who didn't? That was being done all across Tamriel.

On the interwebs, everyone is a dude unless I see a female avatar(MMORPG - I refer to you as "she" if you're playing a chick since I'm referring to your character usually) or name.

< also she. Avatar is an old appearance for my EQ2 dirge, who's a female Fae(fairyfolk).

It would have been better if the fight against the big lizard was not scaled to my level, I killed it first attempt with no problem ... would have preferred a nice challenge that gave a good sense of accomplishment for beating it.
As for the cinematic/story wrap up I think it is extremely difficult to finish any storyline to a satisfyiing standard since you are able to carry on playing afterwards, if the game ended right there bethesda could have made a more definitive ending like in fallout 3. Just like when they extended fallout 3 with broken steel the end then felt less complete as you could carry on afterwards.
I would like it if every single npc reacted realistically to my quest actions but skyrim is not realistic it is a piece of software.

-11/10:

At least with Oblivion's ending people knew I was the Champion of Cyrodiil, but for Skyrim. Jack [censored] happens/changes. It's the same thing with the Civil War quest line. The only thing that changes in the end are the Jarls and their stewards. And even that has no impact at all in the game.

Don't need a definitive ending.

I'd like people to at least recognize me for doing what I did, even with the Civil War.

People carrying on like nothing happened...You only get recognition for doing something if you kill a dragon in town or something.

Spoiler
Anyone else wish you fought Alduin alone? I thought the other Nords around me kind of ruined the tension between the Dragonborn and the World-Eater. I at least remember crapping my trousers after seeing Oblivion's ending, because it was pretty awesome.
