Hello all,

I just got to the point where you can turn in a dragon bone and a dragon scale to Esbern to get his special potion. However, drinking it provides no effect. Doing a search yielded that it was a bug, but apparently fixed in 1.6. If that's the case, how come playing with patch 1.6....it still doesn't work!?

Also, despite turning in the items to get a faulty potion, the "Bring a dragon bone and dragon scale to Esbern" does not disappear from the Misc quest section. Is this somehow related to the faulty potion bug?

I didnt see that noted in 1.6 fixes. Its been bugged since 1.2 iirc, you cant finish the quest because the potion has no effect. If the potion worked as it should the quest would finish itself.
