What dou you think of SkyrimTamriel sieges, battles, huge armi

Hello fellow TES fans!

I have posted this text because I have few ideas that could help to improve gameplay of next either expansion or sequel.

Im sure that some of you agree that ideas are very important when creating a game.
More ideas people create,we get a clearer picture of how perfect one game can be.

I have played many games and i can easily say that TES series are my favorite kind of games.

Bethesda Rocks !!!

Now.there is one idea that crossed my mind and i should use my keyboard a little bit to explain

How about that next expansion includes sieges and battles of hordes of armies, many different strategies and all that in first and third person.

Lets say that there is a nation far away from Tamriel and they have decided to invade it.
They sail across the sea in search of blood and domination.
Also, there could be air units (either tamed dragons.or some other creatures),zeppelins could be also brought in game (easily breakable but strategic)

This event could be used also for a next TES sequel..

so the punch line is - RTS in first/third person set in world of Tamriel, flying units, and numerous realistic strategies to overcome an enemy.

(for example, fireworks can be used to signal your army what to do..)

This is just an idea and i would like to know what the rest of community thinks of it.

hope you like this!

OH! one more thing - there could be sea battles and pirats included

There's Akaviri, Atmora, Pydonea, etc. For other nation, the emperor tried to conquesr Akaviri in 3rd era but fail though. I don't know about zeppelins, but altmer do have spaceships so perhaps zeppelin exist.

Oh, and welcome to the forums, have a http://www.imperial-library.info/sites/default/files/dogate_til_fishystick.jpg.

I think that would be great. The RTS feature though, I think would fail for consoles, as consoles aren't made for RTS style gameplay. I think it'd be cool if you could be the general and talk to some guy, like the king or something, and have him purchase different units and such. During the battles, you'd be the general and you'd ride into battle on a steed. Overall, sieges would be great :D !

I don't know about that, I'm not sure if it would work. To me it sounds like a strategy game.

Seriously, OP? You may want to head over to the Total War forums. I don't think TES is getting the RTS treatment anytime soon.

Besides, Bethesda would have to hire some taiwan company to do it since they SUPPOSEDLY have no RTS experience and the game itself would just ruin the franchise forever.

Oh and yeah, enjoy your fishy stick.

no no,some of you misunderstood me - it definately would not be rts game.

its like map ins skyrim. to plan a strategy you zoom out,but when you play in real time - game switches you to first or third person (classic type for TES games).

Also you can go trough military hierarchy from lets say trooper to general.

and you can give give commands in real time also. (for example : for retreat - green fireworks, for charge - red fireworks)

To see a sea battle in TES world, think it would be [censored] awesome!!

and thanks for the fishy stick mate!

Huge armies won't happen because the consoles and most PCs would melt.

I don't think huge army will work, the most that we can get will probably like the Civil War quests.

Theres a reason why the battle for bruma only has 6 soldiers in it, the engine can't handle too many npcs at once :P

It just wouldn't work. It's like putting a RTS on your RPG with a fake moustache.
