Amazing. Even the disc itself is faulty...

Got my copy of Skyrim on launch day. Shelved it for 6 months. Have since platted it - though frankly it was a chore. Same issues everyone else is having, basically.

Anyway, a week ago, the print on the front of the disk (ie the black background and Skyrim logo) started to flake off dramatically. I've got 40+ games and they're all immaculate, yet Skyrim was somehow shedding black paint inside my PS3...

I took it back to the supermarket where I bought it and they kindly replaced it. The manager was cursing Bethesda under his breath, he actually told me he wished they'd never stocked Skyrim as they've had so many complaints about it - though mine was the first physically defective copy he'd seen.

For me, well, it was just another nail in the coffin for the most defective product I've ever owned. Oh - and the lovely map that came in my original copy - nowhere to be seen in the replacement. Instead of the coarse 'map paper' of the original, it's on horrible thin shiny paper. Since the map was probably the best thing inside the game case, that's pretty disappointing.

Anyone else got a disintegrating game?
