Textures looking like crap

Post » Sun Jul 15, 2012 1:50 pm

I have the DLC Texture Pack
And as found in the STEP guide I've added Bethesda_Hi-Res_Optimized and Skyrim_Realistic_Overhaul in that order , I then delete the DLC esps , as they were to be unchecked and added

sResourceArchiveList=Skyrim - Misc.bsa, Skyrim - Shaders.bsa, Skyrim - Textures.bsa, HighResTexturePack01.bsa, HighResTexturePack02.bsa, Skyrim - Interface.bsa, Skyrim - Animations.bsa, Skyrim - Meshes.bsa, Skyrim - Sounds.bsa
sResourceArchiveList2=Skyrim - Voices.bsa, Skyrim - Voicesixtra.bsa

to my skyrim.ini in the my documents games folders , Now everything looks blah and less then with just the DLC texture pack . Any help ?

You do not need to add that to the INI file as of the non-beta release of 1.4.x.

You need to launch from steam it will automatically redownload the esp's for you, no reason to delete them, or even disable them. Follow the directions on the optimized dlc nexus page or download the latest versioin of STEP, sounds like you are using 4 month old directions, things have changed a lot since then.
