So, in my time in Skyrim I've obtained some houses. You could say I'm a Skyrim version of Donald Trump, maybe...however, I'm wondering something. In a few of my houses there seems to be just an empty room even when I've bought all upgrades. Just an empty, ugly room.


What goes here? What do I do with it?

Having a Housecarl will fill the empty rooms.

Buy as many houses as you can and sell all the stuff in them.

And you get a Housecarl from becoming Thane of that particular city.

Be advised that there will always be a dumpy, empty room in the first floor of Proudspire Manor.

Do you mean the one with the two barrels, a bunch of boxes and a bedroll where the Housecarl is supposed to sleep? You think the biggest, most expensive house in the game would at least have an adequate guest room worthy enough for the Thane's Housecarl. There's not even a real bed, it's a rag.
