I thought a thread dedicated to Info on harder to find items would be helpful.

So I'll start.

Stormcloak Officer Armor: Can be found at Forelhost just west of Riften by doing a quest you get when you arrive. Easier then doing the Civilwar quest chain.

Ancient Nord Armor: Can also be found at Forelhost from the Dragon Priest ghost. Most drop full sets on death. Easier then doing the Companions guild quest.

I'll post more when I find them.
