So I'm 11 hours in and level 21. Have done about half of Whiterun area but haven't completed any guild or main quests. So I've done practically nothing yet. I play more or less hardcoe, so I use a lot of mods that alter difficulty (SkyRe, ASIS, Real Unleveled Skyrim, Monster Mod, Deadly Dragons and Mighty Dragons etc).

I use the uncapper to uncap my skills to 150 and to give two perks a level (SkyRe requirement) so if I wanted too I can change the level progression there. I like the look of MD- A Better Level Progression (http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/18216) as I am extremely impressed with Might Dragons (still cannot kill first dragon at level 21 with follower, it has massive hp, does huge damage and can use summons) and Real Unleveled Skyrim (http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/19636).

So does anyone use a mod to change level progression and what would they recommend to not level up so fast.

ACE (http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/10037) contains a module (which you can use separately from the rest of it) called BYOG, or Balance Your Own Game. The module works in concert with other mods to adjust global scaling, including XP. I use that. Currently set it to -50% xp. I use the rest of ACE too, but it'll absolutely conflict with SkyRe.

Whats your experience with using -50% xp gain, I have used gain but does it make enemies a lot tougher? If so, do you feel underpowered with not enough perks.
