What do you guys actually think about "Todd?"
In my eyes he's legendary, even though he did the 30 day exclusive [censored].. He's still epic!

I have no problem with him, and I've been impressed by him in his interviews. That said, I wasn't a part of the pre-game hype.

He's probably one of the few reasons Skyrim turned out as great as it did (lorewise), so highly appreciated dude.

I think Todd is a genuinely talented developer. TES owes a great deal to him.

Some people seem to have lost sight of that fact that he is human, and hold him to standards which are higher than appropriate. People too often go overrboard with their criticism of him.

People can also go overboard with their praise of Todd, as well.

Long story short: He just a dude with some serious game development chops.

When he talked about content that was ultimately cut. How dare he have ambition!

I think the dude works his socks off. Dude gets massive bags under his eyes pre-release, the kind of bags you only get from overworking.

He's pretty cool, and good in interviews. But he lies pre-game releases, a lot. Sort of like how he said things about how the economy in skyrim works, that once you sell a lot of pork chops to a merchant, pork chops are worth less later on in that hold because the hold is stocked on pork chops, it isn't true.

But in all honesty, TES would be nothing without him, so in the end, I thank him.

Well he is the creative head of TES I thank him for that. I think he is a great interviewer even tho he goes a little overboard well way overboard into hyperbole, and he is Bethesdas hype guy the same with Oblivion and Skyrim.

I had a horrible nightmare of the zombie apocalypse (after watching 4 episodes of The Walking Dead in a row), and Todd Howard and his wife were in it. So I don't know what I think of "Todd". Any input from qualified therapists would be appreciated...

Well, he IS the "Director" he can take a break from developing whenever he want's.
But he doesn't, he works way too much. Too much for his own health.

He was in charge when the magic system was totally gutted and nerfed. For whatever various reasons, the decisions large and small completely decimated a major part of the fundamental game-play mechanics. There are a lot of things Skyrim done right and in as much as Todd gets the credit and love there, he in turn rightfully earns the blame and scorn for eviscerating mages.
