Post » Mon Jul 16, 2012 11:35 pm

I have every update installed and patch. But seriously i had to delete my level 40 character to start a new because my game kept a crashing
b purple textures appearing after a few minutes which caused even more crashes. The Menu's and inventory not opening quick enough took about 2 minutes to open a book!. I've cleared my Cache numerous times with little affect. The only way i can play skyrim is to delete all updates and patches and play offline which i had to do. But i wan't the updates etc etc. I need to fix this please help.

Major texture issues and control locking sounds like either the game data is corrupted or your xbox is on its last legs. If possible test with another Skyrim disc, if the same issue occurs its your 360 at fault.

Xbox is fine its never had any problems and all other games play perfectly. When i first got skyrim it worked fine, but with these patches it ruined everything. And i deleted them and cleared the cache its still messed up.

I have had the game since Day1 on 360 and have updated with every patch (even the 1.2 fiasco). None of the patches cause purple textures, that is a fault on your end. The causes are likely;

1.) Defective game disc
2.) Corrupted data on the HDD
3.) System fault in the 360

As I said check another game disc to see if it still has problems. If it does, then its the 360 at fault, regardless of how other games play.
