problems with frame rate drops

Post » Tue Jul 17, 2012 7:43 am

good morning, I write in the forum to discuss the following problem, it seems that at last the lag due to the hours of play is a fixed but still I still have a poor framerate in some areas according to, for example in the woods near site of ivar or in some caves, that they will fix in the patch 1.6?? memory optimizations are to solve these problems?, thank you very much and hopefully will soon have a PS3 version that is playable.

If this is the same patch that the 360 version has, I'm afraid the Ps3 version could get worse, seeing that patch 1.6 on 360 and on Pc broke more than it fixed. But there is no way to know since there is no evidence that a patch 1.6 for the Ps3 exists.

But it doesn't matter if it makes performance worse... we're getting horse combat!!!

The areas with particle effects (Fire, smoke, mist, coronas) will always suffer framerate issues on the PS3, it's very unlikely to get improved as the community can't help itself on the consoles.

Coronas ?

Do those thing cause framerate issues?

It also gets bad when you have a lot of magical effects readied.

I get insanse slideshow type performance if I have Eola as a follower with a mage and we run into any other spellcasters.

this is just what we get for buying from this company. they aren't going to fix it and they don't care.

God bless the first link out of the hat. ;)

A coronal effect refers to the fuzzy glow that usually accompanies a flame or magic effect, its a particle graphic and prone to fps drops on PS3.

You could have also got "Outer atmoshpere of the Sun" when Googling Corona...

One word, many meanings.
