I just experienced the following 'freeze':

I was shooting an arrow at a guy, but i released the mouse button way too early, causing my arow to fall very short. I did however get a 'killshot animation'. Unfortunately, the only thing it showed was the back of the arrow sticking out of the snow, and i then had to reload a saved game to continue playing. The animation never ended like it was supposed to, it just kind of looped, showing a vibrating arrow vane.
